hati berdebar2 nih. dah lama tak sentuh cisco router nih. la ni boss suruh buat inter-vLAN. al nasib al baik bler usb2serial tu tak dpt di detect oleh laptop ku. ahahaha. senangnya dalam hati..
"awak try download driver tu. kalau takde, pegi mines. ada jual driver dia. beli je device tu skali"

tp masalah plak. ada pswd. bler ada pswd dan kita tak ingat a.k.a. taktau, kene la recover balik. so arahan boss seterusnya plak adalah "awk recover je pswd dia"
"ok.." semenjak keje sini, "ok" is my common dialog. boss tak ckap pn saya ok kan aje.
so..here goes the configuration to recover the cisco router password: connect to the hyper terminal,
then turn off & turn it on again,
press ctrl + break,
then just let the router load itself..
then, enter below command at the :
rommon 1>confreg 2142
rommon 2>reset (some people say what im doing is hacking the router.. naaaah. im trying to reset or remove the pwsd to be exact)
after few minutes, the router will ask few questions. Answer 'no' to all of the setup questions.
Now can start enter the pswd.
Router>en
Router#config t
Router(config)#ena password newpaswd
Router(config)#ena secret morepswd
Router(config)#config-register 0x2102
Router(config)#exit

Router#copy run start
last skali
Router#reload
why reload? reload ni actually reboot @ restart router tu, then when the router starts, then only we can start use the new passwd.
okeh.done. haha..ni baru reset a.k.a. recover pwsd. config inter-vLAN biler kale nyer nak buat nih??
